# FAQs

Frequently asked questions about the Looputo protocol.

### What Is Looputo?

Looputo is a non-custodial protocol that fully automates leveraged looping. It opens a leveraged position on a lending market in a single transaction, then manages it continuously: Liquidation Protection reduces leverage through crashes and depegs to keep the position solvent, Negative Carry Protection unwinds and re-levers to limit losses when carry turns negative, and Leverage Peg corrects leverage drift to keep the position at its target.

### What Networks and Assets Does Looputo Support?

Looputo launches on Ethereum mainnet, supporting LSTs and yield-bearing stablecoins, where liquidity is deepest. Support will gradually expand to additional chains and assets over time.

### How Does Looputo Automate and Protect a Looping Position?

A deposit opens the loop at your chosen leverage in a single transaction. From that point the position is continuously monitored and protected by three automation systems: Liquidation Protection, Negative Carry Protection, and Leverage Peg. Each system is described in detail in [Liquidation Protection](/mechanism/liquidation-protection.md), [Negative Carry Protection](/mechanism/negative-carry-protection.md), and [Leverage Peg](/mechanism/leverage-peg.md).

### Does Looputo Charge Fees?

Looputo charges no fees at launch. The protocol includes configurable fee parameters, which are currently set to zero. See [Fees](/mechanism/fees.md) for details.

### Can I Modify My Position or Exit After Opening?

Yes. You can add or reduce net equity, adjust leverage up or down, or close the position immediately at any time.

### Where Can I Find Looputo's Contract Addresses?

Looputo is fully on-chain and non-custodial, and all contracts are publicly verifiable. Deployed addresses are published in [Contract Addresses](/technical/contract-addresses.md).

### Can I Track the Performance of My Position?

Yes. The Looputo dashboard tracks the APY and net equity of every position over time.

### Why Choose Looputo?

Opening a loop is easy; monitoring it every block is not. Looputo keeps each position self-sustained, watching it and adjusting leverage automatically, so it never has to be managed by hand.

### What Makes Looputo Different?

Most looping tools solve entry: one click, and the position is yours to manage. Looputo is built around what comes after: once open, the position stays self-sustained, protected from liquidation and negative carry, with no health factor, oracle price, or borrow rate to watch.

### Can I Exit Anytime?

Yes. No queue, no cooldown, no lockup. You can close the entire position in a single transaction at any time.

### What Are the Risks?

Looputo's contracts have completed multiple rounds of independent security audits, with reports available in the [Audits](/technical/audits.md) section. Looputo remains subject to smart-contract, integrated-protocol, negative carry, liquidity, and operational security risks. Each risk and its mitigations are detailed in [Risks and Mitigations](/mechanism/risk-and-mitigations.md).
